With his forthcoming debut record waiting in the wings,
Jersey Budd has whetted anticipation for the album further by revealing more details regarding his
Wonderlands release later this year.
Due February 23 the record is due to feature various tracks the 24-year-old has performed on recent support slots for acts including John Martyn, Pete Doherty and Paul Weller. Whether the sunset soul of "She Came Back" that Budd penned with Kasabian man Serge Pizzorno or the southern state brass of "Shotgun Times" it promises to be an eclectic effort from the Leicester-born songwriter.
Preceding the release of the album shall be the single "Visions Of You", available from February 16. A formidable FM rock anthem that boasts a production team personally recommended to Budd by Noel Gallagher, it shall be available both as a download and limited 7". Alongside this announcement comes news of some alterations to Budd's previously announced itinerary, meaning the Leicester songsmith's various performances at London's Water Rats now fall on a different set of dates.
