Tilda Swinton to appear on Patrick Wolf's new album

Patrick Wolf has announced the first of what is bound to be many surprises regarding his forthcoming Bandstocks release, Battle, by revealing that the BAFTA and Academy Award-winning actress Tilda Swinton shall feature on the record.
After seeing her performance in the 1992 film adaptation of Virginia Wolf's Orlando Wolf decided to get into contact with the crimson-haired Scot, sending her a CD and a hand-written note. Instantly charmed by the twenty-five-year-old she was eager to get involved with the young musician's work.
Speaking about her contribution of four spoken word pieces to the record, she said the following:
"My feeling is that we all but certainly come from the same planet: kith and kin. His music sounds like the great unexpressed soundtrack of a great film I want to see - and try to catch every night before I go to sleep. It's a lovely thing to be part of that magical landscape."
Enlisted by Wolf to act as the "voice of hope" on the record, we should have further details from the lupine starlet on why he was so keen on the actress appearing on the record and any other revelations we can expect from the release very soon.
