With Jersey Budd's debut record, Wonderlands, out next Monday (May 11) praise from the press has been flooding in from all corners, whether The Observer or The Sun.

Celebrated as a true mod-rock gem, here's a series of pull-quotes from reviews of the record:

"Everyman appeal and melodies prove that Budd has a weather eye cocked to stadium rock posterity" Observer Music Monthly

"Accomplished debut that frames Budd's classically wasted rocks/blues vocal" The Fly

"He's driving along the A6 but in his head's on the New Jersey Turnpike" Big Issue

"Rollicking bar room rock in thrall to Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen" Q

"Quality songwriting that's about to win Budd even more friends" NME

"This boy is going to be as big as fellow Leicester lads Kasabian" The Sun

Budd embarks on the following May dates on Friday supporting Little Feat before beginning his own headline Wonderlands tour on May 11:

9 Liverpool Academy (supporting Little Feat)

Listened to Wonderlands several times now. Have to say that every time I listen it gets better and better. I am a album junkie, purchase them all. Wonderlands is the best album of the year so far. I think its obvious that Wonderlands is going to be a massive hit around the world.

I live in Toronto Canada but originally from Leicester. Really hope JB tours North America and makes a stop in Toronto, the Mod Club would be a perfect venue for his sound. All my mates will be there.

A great sound, a great voice and fantastic writing.

JB is going to be massive, going to put my money on it.
