Leicester boy born and bred, Jersey Budd has found some hometown support ahead of his debut release via Bandstocks with the news that fellow East Midlands act Kasabian and the 33 members of his childhood football team, Leicester City, have invested in his forthcoming album, Wonderland.
Arriving alongside the announcement of the support from Foxes and rockers alike feeling a bit of festive generosity is news of a fresh UK tour for the 24-year-old artist. Taking in the sights from Glasgow right down to Portsmouth along the way it'll be a fantastic opportunity to catch some new material from Budd, due for the record pencilled in for March release.
And to celebrate this the first 25 fans to book tickets for each of the dates will be in for a treat. Not only shall they find their ticket fee reduced to only £1, they'll also be the first to get hold of an exclusive track written by Budd entitled "Foolin' Around" for free. This will precede the release of "Visions Of You" on February 9.
On the issue of the giveaway, Jersey had this message:
"In this goodwill season, £1 tickets is a way of giving something back. You've got to look after the fans if they're going to help you make a record!"
And so, those dates you could be seeing Mr Budd perform are:
